Description
A delicious recipe for Turkish meatballs served with rice.
Ingredients

- 500g ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 cups rice
- 4 cups water or broth
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, pepper, paprika, cumin, and parsley.
- Mix well and form into small balls.
- Heat olive oil in a pan and cook meatballs until browned on all sides.
- Remove meatballs and set aside.
- In the same pan, add rice and stir for a couple of minutes.
- Add water or broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Add meatballs to the rice and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
- Fluff rice and serve with meatballs on top.
Notes
- Adjust spices according to your taste.
- Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
