  • 1/2 cup tamarind paste
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix tamarind paste, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, black pepper, and chili flakes.
  3. Rub the mixture over the beef ribs.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Sear the ribs on both sides until browned.
  6. Transfer the ribs to a baking dish and cover with foil.
  7. Bake in the oven for 2.5 hours.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes to caramelize the sauce.
