Ingredients

  • 1 cup sourdough discard
  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Mix milk sugar and yeast in a bowl.
  2. Add sourdough discard and melted butter.
  3. Stir in flour and salt until dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for ten minutes.
  5. Let the dough rise for one hour.
  6. Roll the dough into a rectangle.
  7. Brush with garlic and butter.
  8. Cut the dough into squares.
  9. Stack the squares in a loaf pan.
  10. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Notes

  • Use room temperature discard for better results.
  • Check the bread early to prevent burning.
