Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 egg (or flax egg for vegan option)
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine cooked lentils, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the egg and mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into patties.
  4. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  5. Cook each patty for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden.
  6. Serve on a bun with your favorite toppings.

  • Store leftover patties in the fridge for up to 3 days.
