- 4 beef marrow bones
- Salt to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 baguette, sliced
- Fresh herbs for garnish, such as parsley or chives
Instructions
- Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).
- Season the marrow bones with salt and pepper.
- Place the bones in the smoker and smoke for about 1 hour.
- Meanwhile, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Brush baguette slices with olive oil and toast them in the oven for about 5-7 minutes.
- Once the marrow is done smoking, remove it from the smoker.
- Scoop the marrow onto the toasted bread slices.
- Garnish with fresh herbs.
- Serve immediately.

- Ensure bones are cut lengthwise for easy access to the marrow.
- Adjust smoking time based on your preferred flavor intensity.
- Serve with a side of pickled vegetables for added contrast.
