Description
Seffa with Cinnamon and Almonds is a traditional sweet couscous dish. It features fluffy couscous topped with a sweet cinnamon mixture and almonds.
Ingredients

- 2 cups couscous
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup almonds, sliced
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Boil water in a pot and add salt.
- Stir in couscous, cover, and let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Fluff couscous with a fork and set aside.
- In a skillet, melt butter and add sugar, cinnamon, and almonds.
- Cook until almonds are golden and sugar is dissolved.
- Mix the almond mixture with couscous and add raisins.
- Serve warm, garnished with extra almonds and cinnamon.
Notes
- Adjust sugar to taste.
- Use toasted almonds for added flavor.
- Can add other dried fruits if desired.
