Description

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup almonds, sliced
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a pot and add salt.
  2. Stir in couscous, cover, and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Fluff couscous with a fork and set aside.
  4. In a skillet, melt butter and add sugar, cinnamon, and almonds.
  5. Cook until almonds are golden and sugar is dissolved.
  6. Mix the almond mixture with couscous and add raisins.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with extra almonds and cinnamon.
