- 200g rice cakes
- 8 sheets of rice paper
- 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 cup water
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Soak rice paper in warm water until soft.
- In a pan, combine gochujang, soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, and water.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat.
- Add rice cakes and cook until heated through.
- Remove rice cakes and place each on a softened rice paper sheet.
- Roll the rice paper around the rice cakes tightly.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
Notes
- Adjust spice level by adding more or less gochujang.
- Serve immediately for the best texture.
