A creamy and cheesy potato dish baked to perfection.
Ingredients

- 4 large potatoes, thinly sliced
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a baking dish with butter.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the dish.
- In a bowl, mix heavy cream, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Pour half of the cream mixture over the potatoes.
- Sprinkle half of the cheddar and Gruyère cheese on top.
- Repeat layers with remaining potatoes, cream mixture, and cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until golden.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use a mandoline for even potato slices.
- Let the dish sit for a few minutes before serving.
