Description
A classic Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich made with thinly sliced beef, melted cheese, and sautéed onions.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ribeye steak, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 4 hoagie rolls
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add sliced onions and bell peppers. Sauté until soft.
- Add the sliced ribeye steak to the skillet. Cook until browned.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Divide the steak mixture into four portions.
- Top each portion with a slice of provolone cheese.
- Cover the skillet until cheese melts.
- Place the steak mixture into hoagie rolls.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add mushrooms or jalapeños.
- Use a meat slicer for thinner cuts of steak.
