Description

Ingredients
- Semolina – 1 cup
- All-purpose flour – 2 tablespoons
- Water – as needed
- Chickpeas – 1 cup (cooked)
- Potato – 1 (boiled and mashed)
- Tamarind – 1/2 cup
- Mint leaves – 1/2 cup
- Spices – to taste (cumin, chili powder)
- Salt – to taste
Instructions
- Mix semolina and all-purpose flour.
- Add water gradually to form a dough.
- Let the dough rest for 30 minutes.
- Roll small balls and flatten them into discs.
- Deep fry until they puff up and turn golden brown.
- Prepare tamarind water by mixing tamarind paste, mint leaves, spices, and water.
- Combine chickpeas and mashed potato with spices.
- Make a hole in each puri and fill it with the mixture.
- Serve with spiced water.
