Description

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons sumac
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 4 pieces of taboon bread
  • Pine nuts for garnish
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the chicken with sumac, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté the onions until golden.
  4. Add the chicken to the pan and cook until browned.
  5. Transfer the chicken and onions to a baking dish.
  6. Bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes until fully cooked.
  7. Toast the taboon bread lightly.
  8. Serve the chicken on the bread, garnished with pine nuts and parsley.
