- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 8 ounces uncooked lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add ground beef, onion, and garlic; cook until beef is browned.
- Stir in chicken broth, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and Italian seasoning.
- Bring to a boil, then add lasagna noodles.
- Reduce heat and simmer until noodles are tender.
- Stir in ricotta cheese and half of the mozzarella cheese.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot, topped with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
