Description
Omurice is a Japanese dish consisting of fried rice wrapped in a fluffy omelette. It is often topped with ketchup.

- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1/2 cup diced chicken
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- 1/4 cup peas
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking oil
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and sauté onions until translucent.
- Add chicken and cook until browned.
- Stir in peas and cooked rice.
- Add ketchup, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- In a separate pan, beat eggs and cook to form an omelette.
- Place the rice mixture on one side of the omelette and fold it over.
- Transfer to a plate and top with more ketchup if desired.
Notes
- You can use any leftover vegetables or meat in the rice.
- Adjust the seasoning according to your taste.
