  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine rolled oats and boiling water. Let it sit for 20 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, cream together sugar, brown sugar, and butter.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in the soaked oats.
  6. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in a separate bowl.
  7. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  8. Fold in chocolate chips and walnuts.
  9. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
