Description
Lamb Tangia is a traditional Moroccan dish, slow-cooked with spices and served with bread.
Ingredients

- 2 kg lamb shoulder, cut into pieces
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 2 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 500 ml water
- 1 lemon, juiced
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F).
- In a large pot, combine lamb, garlic, spices, and water.
- Stir in the lemon juice.
- Cover the pot tightly and place it in the oven.
- Cook for 4-5 hours until the lamb is tender.
- Remove from oven and let it rest before serving.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with bread.
