Description
Kinako Mochi are chewy rice cakes coated with roasted soy flour.
Ingredients

- 1 cup glutinous rice flour
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup kinako (roasted soy flour)
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix glutinous rice flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add water and stir until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a steaming dish.
- Steam for about 20 minutes until firm.
- Let it cool and cut into pieces.
- Coat with kinako before serving.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container.
- Best served fresh.
- Can add fillings like red bean paste.
