Description
Japchae is a Korean dish made with sweet potato glass noodles and beef, stir-fried with vegetables.
Ingredients

- 8 oz sweet potato glass noodles
- 1/2 lb beef, sliced
- 1 cup spinach
- 1 cup carrots, julienned
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
Instructions
- Soak the sweet potato noodles in hot water for 30 minutes.
- In a pan, heat sesame oil and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add sliced beef and cook until browned.
- Add onions, carrots, and bell peppers; stir-fry until tender.
- Add spinach and cook until wilted.
- Drain noodles and add to the pan.
- Pour in soy sauce and sugar; mix well.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Add more vegetables if desired.
- Can substitute beef with chicken or tofu for a different flavor.
