Description
Japchae is a Korean dish made with sweet potato glass noodles stir-fried with vegetables and meat.
Ingredients

- 200g sweet potato glass noodles
- 150g beef, sliced
- 1 medium carrot, julienned
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup spinach
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Soak sweet potato noodles in warm water for 30 minutes.
- Boil noodles for 5 minutes, drain, and set aside.
- In a pan, heat sesame oil and stir-fry garlic until fragrant.
- Add beef and cook until browned.
- Add carrots and bell peppers, stir-fry for 3 minutes.
- Add spinach and cook until wilted.
- Add noodles, soy sauce, and sugar, mix well.
- Garnish with sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- Adjust soy sauce to taste.
- Use mushrooms for added flavor.
- Can be served hot or cold.
