Description

Japchae is a Korean dish made with sweet potato glass noodles stir-fried with vegetables and meat.


Ingredients

  • 200g sweet potato glass noodles
  • 150g beef, sliced
  • 1 medium carrot, julienned
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Soak sweet potato noodles in warm water for 30 minutes.
  2. Boil noodles for 5 minutes, drain, and set aside.
  3. In a pan, heat sesame oil and stir-fry garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add beef and cook until browned.
  5. Add carrots and bell peppers, stir-fry for 3 minutes.
  6. Add spinach and cook until wilted.
  7. Add noodles, soy sauce, and sugar, mix well.
  8. Garnish with sesame seeds before serving.
