Description
Hibiscus Bissap is a refreshing Senegalese drink made from dried hibiscus flowers.
Ingredients

- 2 cups dried hibiscus flowers
- 8 cups water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves
- Juice of 1 lime
Instructions
- Boil water in a pot.
- Add dried hibiscus flowers and mint leaves.
- Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Strain the mixture into a pitcher.
- Add sugar and lime juice, stirring until dissolved.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
- Serve over ice.
Notes
- Adjust sugar to taste.
- Add more mint for a stronger flavor.
- Can be served with fruit slices.
