- 200g clarified tallow
- Salt to taste
- Fresh herbs (optional)
Instructions
- Peel the small potatoes and rinse them thoroughly.
- In a pot, heat the clarified tallow over medium heat.
- Add the potatoes to the pot and season with salt.
- Cover the pot and cook on low heat for 45 minutes, until the potatoes are tender.
- Remove the lid and increase heat for a few minutes to allow the potatoes to glaze.
- Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
- Choose potatoes that are uniform in size for even cooking.
- Clarified tallow can be replaced with olive oil for a different flavor.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
