Description
These biscuits use sourdough discard to make flaky bread. You can make them for breakfast or dinner.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter cubed
- 1 cup sourdough discard
- 1/4 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Whisk the flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Cut the cold butter into the flour until the mixture looks like crumbs.
- Stir in the sourdough discard and milk until a dough forms.
- Turn the dough onto a surface and fold it five times.
- Pat the dough into a rectangle.
- Cut the dough into circles.
- Place the circles on a pan and bake for 15 minutes.
Notes
- Use cold butter for a better rise.
- Do not overmix the dough.
- Brush the tops with butter after baking.
