Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C).
  2. In a small saucepan, melt the beef tallow over low heat.
  3. Carefully separate the egg yolks from the whites.
  4. Gently place the yolks in a small dish or ramekin.
  5. Pour the melted tallow over the yolks until they are completely submerged.
  6. Bake in the oven for about 1 hour until the yolks are firm.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool in the tallow.
  8. Once cooled, carefully remove the yolks and sprinkle with salt before serving.
