Ingredients

- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup sugar (for coating)
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 cup dark chocolate
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, and salt. Boil over medium heat.
- Remove from heat and stir in flour until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.
- Pipe dough into the hot oil, frying until golden brown.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Coat churros in the mixture.
- For the dip, heat dark chocolate and heavy cream until melted.
- Add cayenne pepper to the chocolate mix and stir well.
- Serve churros warm with spicy chocolate dip.
Notes
- Ensure oil is hot enough before frying.
- Adjust cayenne pepper to taste for spice level.
- Churros are best served fresh.
