- 1 cup powdered sugar (for filling)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a bowl, mix almond flour, powdered sugar, and cocoa powder.
- In another bowl, beat egg whites until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add granulated sugar and beat until stiff peaks form.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the egg whites gently.
- Add rosewater and mix until combined.
- Pipe small circles onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Let them sit for 30 minutes to form a skin.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, then cool completely.
- For the filling, mix melted chocolate and softened butter, then add powdered sugar.
- Sandwich two macarons with the chocolate filling.
