- 1 small onion diced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup salsa
- 8 ounces medium pasta shells
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 0.25 cup fresh cilantro chopped
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Drain the grease from the pan.
- Add the onion and garlic to the beef.
- Cook until the onion is soft.
- Stir in the taco seasoning.
- Pour in the beef broth and salsa.
- Add the pasta shells to the skillet.
- Bring the liquid to a boil.
- Reduce the heat and cover the pan.
- Simmer for 12 minutes until the pasta is tender.
- Remove the skillet from the heat.
- Stir in the cheese until it melts.
- Garnish with cilantro before you serve.
